Rose Stuckey Kirk
President, The Verizon Foundation
Rose Stuckey Kirk is president of the Verizon Foundation, with accountability for leading the company's philanthropic strategy by leveraging Verizon's technology, financial resources, employees and partnerships to improve social issues. The foundation specifically focuses its efforts on creating lasting change in the areas of education, domestic violence prevention and online safety.
Previously, Kirk served as vice president of public affairs, policy and communications, and she was responsible for strategy, implementation and measurement of communications focused on Verizon's corporate responsibility, philanthropy and sustainability initiatives.
Kirk has also held a range of executive-level positions across the various Verizon business units, including vice president - sales operations for the enterprise and government team within Verizon Wireless.
She is chair of the Board of Directors for the National Domestic Violence Hotline, a member of the national service organization Jack and Jill of America, and a board member of the Communications Department Advisory Board of Arkansas State University.
Kirk holds a B.S. degree in journalism from ASU and is completing a master’s degree in international affairs from Washington University in St. Louis.
