Verizon FiOS TV Services and Packages
Services and Pricing
Choice, Value and Simplicity, sum up Verizon FiOS TV. Subscribers choose a service. Then they can add to it from a selection of digital packages and premium channels.
- Basic -Includes 15-35 local broadcast and public, education and government channels for $12.95 per month. The customer chooses digital or analog service. The digital service, which requires a set-top box, offers access to pay-per-view programming and the video- on-demand library. Customers who choose the analog service will receive only the local channel line-up.
Expanded Basic -Includes more than 180 channels for $39.95 per month. This service, which requires a digital set-top box, features all Basic channels, as well as a wide range of additional digital TV and music programming and access to pay-per-view and video-on-demand content. Customers lease one of three set-top boxes - standard definition, high definition or digital video recorder. The high-definition set-top box and the digital video recorder include access to an expansive line-up of HDTV channels.
La Conexión - Includes nearly140 channels for $32.95 per month. This service package, for households that prefer both English- and Spanish-language programming, features all Basic channels, as well as a wide range of additional digital TV and music channels and access to pay-per-view and video-on-demand content. Customers lease one of three set-top boxes - standard definition, high definition or digital video recorder. The high-definition set-top box and the digital video recorder include access to an expansive line-up of HDTV channels.
Subscribers who sign-up for a Verizon Freedom voice package or FiOS Internet Service will receive $5. off the regular monthly service package price for Verizon FiOS TV.
Subscribers who purchase all three services - Verizon Freedom voice service, FiOS Internet Service and FiOS TV, will receive a cumulative discount of $10.
Packages and Premium Channels
Verizon FiOS TV also offers a selection of sports, movie and Spanish-language packages, as well as a variety of premium and international channels.
Sports Package - Includes a total of 15 channels for a monthly price of $5.95.
Movie Package - Includes a total of 44 channels for a monthly price of $11.95.
Sports/Movie Package Combination - Includes a total of 59 channels for a monthly price of $14.95, a savings of $2.95 per month if these packages were ordered separately.
Spanish Language Package - Includes a total of 25 channels for a monthly price of $11.95. Please note, customers have a choice of either the Spanish Language package or the La Conexión service package.
Premium channels include HBO, Cinemax and international programming.
HBO - Includes a total of 14 channels for a monthly price of $14.95. Subscribers also receive all HBO video-on-demand content free of charge.
Cinemax - Includes a total of 12 channels for a monthly price of $14.95. Subscribers also receive all Cinemax video-on-demand content free of charge.
HBO/Cinemax Combination - Includes a total of 26 channels for a monthly price of $24.95, a savings of $4.95 per month if these premium channels were ordered separately. Subscribers also receive all HBO and Cinemax video-on-demand content free of charge.
International Premium Channels - Customers can choose from a selection of 14 international premium channels. These channels are individually priced.
Video on Demand and Pay Per View
Verizon FiOS TV offers a video-on-demand service consisting of current studio releases and library of approximately 1,800 titles, with 2,000 titles planned over the next couple of months. , Verizon also offers pay-per-view movies, events and sports.
On Demand Movies - New studio releases can be viewed for $3.95 per movie and library movies can be viewed for $2.95 per movie. A subscriber generally has 24-hours to view the selection. The subscriber can start, stop and pause their selection at will.
Pay Per View - Movies, events and sports will be offered according to a specified schedule. Pricing will vary.
